New-View Community Partners would like to recognize past President Patricia A. Gordon for her service and introduce its current President Nevin Mohler. Ms. Gordon served as president of New-View Community Partners since it first incorporated in October 2002 as The Fairview Township Community Festival, Inc. until December 2009 when she decided not to seek an additional term after with the organization. Ms. Gordon was instrumental in starting many of the great programs that the organization supports such as: Secret Santa, which this past Christmas provided gifts to over 300 area families; the annual Easter Egg Hunt, supporting the area emergency services organizations police, fire, and ambulance, and many other worthy projects. Patricia Gordon was a great asset to the organization and her personality and charisma will be missed; she has decided after all these years to take a break from the organization and to spend more time with her family; stated Nevin Mohler, the newly elected President. Mr. Mohler has been involved with the organization for many years and will bring the following experience to the group, 20 years New Cumberland Lions Club, 7 years Fairview Twp. Community Festival, 5 years Valley Grange # 1360, 12 years PPG Ind. Inc., 10 years PA Dept Labor & Industry (computer programmer), 14 years PA Dept of Corrections (computer programmer). Mr. Mohler went on to say that the organization is looking forward to getting back to its core mission of working with the local communities and to continue with the worthy project established in the past.
