The Nancy Steigerwalt Music Scholarship was started to honor the life of a wonderful
woman. No amount of words could possibly do justice to the entire life of Nancy
Steigerwalt. Nancy was known and loved throughout the community and had touched
many lives.

How could one describe Nancy? First and foremost, she was the very essence of duty.
When there was a need-she was the first to respond. No matter what it was. If there was
a task to be performed - she performed it. If you needed a cake or pie for a spaghetti
dinner or potato salad for
funeral luncheon - Nancy did it.

This essence of duty wasn't limited to her church work either. She helped in our schools
for many years in a variety of ways. For example, if costumes were needed for the High
School musical - it was Nancy who was there working tirelessly until the show was
completed.

If it wasn't school it was her working with the Ambulance Service or her work with the
library or her work with the Republican Party - or her work helping youth that were first
offenders and needing to perform public service - many of these individuals whom she
touched have gone on to live changed lives. .

Whomever had a need - you could call on Nancy - she was there!
Her life was a symbol of selfless giving.
